About
Hisham is a Civil Engineer that specialises in the Sciences and Mathematics. He enjoys teaching students and bringing the best out of individuals which led him to founding London Tuition Academy.
He has obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering. He graduated with an MSc in Civil Engineering from UCL and specialises in structural and earthquake engineering. Having worked in consulting and contracting he understands the importance of using Mathematics in the Engineering world to provide solutions to every-day projects.
Hisham has a skill in being able to simplify complex problems into simple and easy to understand concepts. He has been doing so as a private tutor and also previously as a university student where he used to teach and create videos to help his peers understand concepts from lecturers.
Achievements
Hisham recieved a First Class Honours in his Bachelors degree and was awarded the ICE Student Prize from the Institution of Civil Engineers for being the best Civil Engineering graduate at university.
He was then awarded a Distinction for his Masters and was awarded a scholarship to present his thesis at an international conference
Being the top performer and excelling in different projects, Hisham aims to create a programme that shares the techniques and qualities required in the form of academic coaching to help students achieve their best grades and adopt qualities to help achieve their best selves.
Objectives
When Hisham was a student himself he found that many teachers and lecturers over complicated things and made things difficult for students to understand.
The objective of the Academy is to help provide students the best tutors that can help them understand and learn in a simple and an effective way. For Hisham the qualifications of a teacher and their skill in teaching is two separate things. He says “You can have the best qualifications but be terrible at teaching. Teaching is a skill that not many are gifted to be able to do”
